Anima is an iOS app that lets silent objects speak. Point your camera at anything — a bronze artifact in a museum, an old family photograph, your child's teddy bear — and Anima scans its look and identity, then generates a one-of-a-kind persona on the spot: a unique voice, a personality, and stories of its own. Every scan is a surprise.
Why it matters
A child meets history not from a placard, but from the artifact itself. A grandmother's photograph speaks again, telling memories the family thought were lost. More than learning. More than memory. Companions hidden in the everyday things around us.
Compose
Generate a fresh persona from appearance and identity, complete with its own tone, temperament, and catchphrases.
Converse
Hold to talk, hear a live voice response, and watch the character speak back with realtime lip-sync.
Remember
Keep characters in a persistent library so the same object can return as a familiar companion later.
